Welcome to our museum café! Please be aware that our café is situated on the first floor and only accessible via stairs. This can present challenges for wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties. However, we are delighted to offer an alternative solution: our staff are more than happy to bring food and refreshing drinks down to the hangar seating area for your convenience.
In our commitment to inclusivity, we're thrilled to announce that we've secured funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund. This support will enable us to begin construction in April 2024 for a platform lift, ensuring access to the café for all visitors. Additionally, improvements will include the installation of a disabled toilet.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the current limitations and sincerely appreciate your understanding. Your visit and comfort are of utmost importance to us, and we eagerly anticipate these upcoming enhancements to better serve all our guests.
