VOLUNTEERING AT SWAM
Here at SWAM we are always on the look out for new volunteers to join our team. We have a wide range of volunteers at the museum from ex service men and women to aircraft enthusiasts and people who just love the experience of looking after our visitors. We offer a wide range of volunteering opportunities which include administration, aircraft maintenance, hangar maintenance, reception / gift shop, cafe and general weekend volunteers. Our volunteers are our pride and joy and without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to open our doors to the public.
Becoming a volunteer at SWAM opens an array of opportunities. Some of our volunteers have carried out radio interviews, TV interviews and have also helped to transport aircraft from various locations around the UK.
